The Center for the Performing Arts wants to strengthen the art and culture scene on the southern Sonnenberg.
In its KRACH space the ZfDK wants to assemble local and international independent theater makers, train them in workshops and introduce them to residency programs in Chemnitz and provide them with project, rehearsal and later on even performance venues. The founders of the ZfDK are Chemnitz resident, Germanistik student and radio journalist Pascal Anselmi and Hannah Saar, who studied theater and cultural studies in Munich and London and works independently as director and producer for theater projects.
