Pascal Ansielmi is one of the winners of the first KRACH round in 2017/18. He convinced the jury with his idea of the Center for the Performing Arts Chemnitz - and finally has gotten his key, making it the first official entry into the creative center "Die Stadtwirtschaft" at the foot of Sonnenberg.
The city of Chemnitz brings an exciting space into the KRACH program. The aim of the city is to revive the district which has trended here in recent years. In immediate vicinity already there's already the event bar "Lokomov", the club "Nikola Tesla", the reading café "Kaffeesatz", the off-stage "complex", a neighborhood garden, the coworking space "Kabinettstückchen" and numerous other actors. In addition to KRACH winners, other players of the cultural and creative industries are to join the creative center "Die Stadtwirtschaft", which is run by the industry association Kreatives Chemnitz e.V..
Pascal can now start with his furnishings. A rehearsal and performance room should be created. A workshop room, a warehouse and an office have to be set up. Pascal prefers to use only 70s-style furnishings for his space. But he can certainly use some help: A table must has to be found, so that in future performing artists, other creatives and interested people can come together. There are still missing lamps. The warehouse still needs shelves so that the "secret door" can be disguised. Extension cords and distribution plugs are also needed.
For the first time, Pascal wants to open his rooms to all interested parties and introduce himself to the public at the "Hang zur Kultur"-Event on 15th of June on Sonnenberg.
