We met with #krachgewinner2018 Ulrich from the project Scorefab. His potential new office is located on Sonnenberg in Sebastian Bach street. Scorefab has been working on the idea to provide musicians, music schools and publishers with digital musical score, either on loan or for sale. Mainly smaller publishers are interested in this project. Larger publishers have just launched their own platforms. A market exists. Especially small publishers have archives of acquainted and lesser-known pieces, which can thus be made accessible to the market. The project could receive commissions for sale and hiring out. But for now the room remains empty. There have been changes in the founding team. Some people have left the project. Ulrich was looking for new colleagues for Scorefab. "It would have to be someone who not only brings the necessary skills, but also like myself believes in the project and takes responsibility". After a long search and countless conversations, Ulrich no longer believes in finding this person. He decided to let go of the project. It is not his only project. Ulrich is busy. Even if he could not lead the founded company to success, he does not think that he has lost any time. On his way, Ulrich learned a lot about founding, funding programs and pitfalls. That means for the KRACH programm: We may have lost an awardee but we have also won an expert. We will stay in touch count on the experiences made and wish Ulrich all the best.
